Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 1, 2026

LANDELIER LLC (“Landelier,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling Personal Information responsibly and transparently.

This Privacy Policy describes how LANDELIER LLC, located at 4 Ridge Rd W, Sag Harbor, NY 11963, United States, collects, uses, discloses, and protects Personal Information when you visit www.landelier.com (the “Website”), contact us, submit an inquiry, or otherwise interact with us in connection with our landscape design services.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked to an individual or household, where treated as personal information under applicable law.

This Privacy Policy primarily concerns information collected through the Website and through communications initiated in connection with the Website. Additional agreements or notices may apply to information processed as part of an established client relationship.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

We may collect Personal Information that you voluntarily provide when you contact us, submit an inquiry, communicate with us by email, or otherwise interact with Landelier.

This may include your name, email address, telephone number if you choose to provide it, mailing or property address if relevant to your inquiry, and the contents of your communications with us.

If you contact us regarding a potential landscape design project, you may also choose to provide project-related information such as the project location, property details, photographs, plans, design preferences, anticipated scope, schedule, or other information relevant to your inquiry.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, medical information, government-issued identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information through the Website unless we specifically request it for a legitimate and lawful purpose.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Website, certain technical information may be collected automatically by our Website infrastructure, hosting providers, security systems, or other technologies that we use.

Depending on the technologies enabled on the Website, this information may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, pages visited, date and time of access, approximate geographic location derived from an IP address, cookie or similar online identifiers, and information relating to Website performance, errors, and security.

The exact information collected depends on the technologies currently enabled on the Website.

Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties when you choose to interact with Landelier through third-party services, social media platforms, referrals, collaborators, or other communication channels.

Information collected directly by a third-party platform is also governed by that third party’s privacy practices.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We may use Personal Information to respond to inquiries and requests; communicate with prospective and existing clients; assess prospective projects; prepare proposals or estimates; provide, administer, and improve our services; maintain business and client records; operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website; diagnose technical issues; prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents; analyze Website performance and usage where analytics technologies are enabled; comply with applicable law, legal process, professional obligations, and contractual requirements; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and carry out other purposes reasonably related to the reason for which the information was provided.

We may also use contact information to communicate with you regarding Landelier’s services when permitted by applicable law. Where consent is required for a particular type of marketing communication, we will request that consent separately.

Submitting an inquiry does not automatically enroll you in marketing communications.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Website may use cookies and similar technologies such as pixels, local storage, tags, or scripts.

Some technologies may be strictly necessary to operate the Website, maintain security, remember privacy preferences, process forms, or provide functionality requested by the visitor.

Depending on the tools enabled on the Website, we may also use optional analytics, functional, or marketing technologies to understand how visitors use the Website, measure Website performance, improve our services, or evaluate the effectiveness of communications or advertising.

Where required by applicable law or where we provide a consent mechanism, optional technologies will be used in accordance with the privacy choices communicated through that mechanism.

You may also be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect Website functionality.

Where applicable law requires us to recognize a legally valid opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), we will process recognized signals as required by applicable law and in connection with the Website technologies to which those signals apply.

4. Do Not Track and Cross-Site Tracking

Some web browsers offer a legacy “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) setting. Because there is currently no universally accepted technical or legal standard governing all DNT signals, the Website does not necessarily respond to legacy DNT signals unless required by applicable law.

This is separate from legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as GPC, which we honor where required by applicable law.

Depending on the third-party technologies enabled on the Website, third parties providing analytics, embedded content, advertising, or related services may be able to collect information regarding online activities over time and across different websites or online services.

Where such technologies are used, we provide disclosures and privacy choices as required by applicable law.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose Personal Information to service providers and contractors that perform services for us, including Website hosting, website administration, cloud storage, email, information technology, cybersecurity, communications, analytics, and other business-support services.

We may disclose relevant information to landscape contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, vendors, professional collaborators, or other parties when reasonably necessary to evaluate or perform a project requested by a client or prospective client.

We may also disclose information to accountants, attorneys, insurers, and other professional advisers; to governmental authorities, courts, regulators, or law enforcement when required or permitted by law; when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, property, users, clients, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

We do not sell Personal Information in exchange for money.

If we implement advertising or other technologies in the future that constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under an applicable state privacy law, we will provide any notices and opt-out mechanisms required by that law.

6. Data Retention

We retain Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining an ongoing or potential business relationship, providing services, maintaining appropriate business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, complying with legal obligations, and protecting the security and integrity of our systems.

Retention periods may vary depending on the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purpose for which it was collected, the nature of our relationship with you, applicable legal requirements, and the potential risk associated with unauthorized use or disclosure.

When Personal Information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise securely dispose of it, subject to applicable law and legitimate record-retention requirements.

7. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, acquisition, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No website, electronic transmission, or data-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, while we take reasonable measures to protect Personal Information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and the laws applicable to Landelier’s processing of your Personal Information, you may have certain privacy rights.

These rights may include the right to confirm whether we process your Personal Information; request access to or a copy of certain Personal Information; correct inaccurate Personal Information; request deletion of Personal Information; obtain Personal Information in a portable format; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; opt out of certain sales of Personal Information, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive Personal Information; and appeal a decision we make regarding a privacy request.

Not every right applies in every jurisdiction or circumstance. We may deny or limit a request when permitted by applicable law.

To exercise a privacy right, please contact us at hello@landelier.com and use the subject line “Privacy Request.”

We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before completing a request. Where permitted by applicable law, you may also use an authorized agent to submit certain requests on your behalf, subject to appropriate verification.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right protected by applicable law.

9. California Privacy Disclosures

California Online Privacy Protection Act

If you are a California resident, the categories of personally identifiable information that we may collect are described in Section 1 of this Privacy Policy, and the categories of third parties with whom information may be disclosed are described in Section 5.

If you wish to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information that we maintain about you, you may contact us at hello@landelier.com. We will consider and respond to the request in accordance with applicable law.

Our approach to Do Not Track signals, opt-out preference signals, and potential third-party tracking is described in Sections 3 and 4.

The effective date of this Privacy Policy appears at the beginning of the Policy. Material changes are handled as described in Section 14 below.

California Consumer Privacy Act

If and to the extent LANDELIER LLC is considered a “business” subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), California residents may have additional rights provided by the CCPA, including rights to know and access Personal Information, correct inaccurate Personal Information, request deletion, opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information, limit certain uses or disclosures of Sensitive Personal Information, and receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

Landelier does not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration.

If our Website practices constitute “selling” or “sharing” Personal Information under the CCPA, we will provide the legally required method for California residents to exercise the applicable opt-out right.

Requests may be submitted using the contact information provided in Section 15.

10. Residents of Other U.S. States

Privacy laws in certain U.S. states provide eligible residents with rights relating to their Personal Information.

Where one of those laws applies to LANDELIER LLC and to your Personal Information, we will provide and honor the rights required by that law.

These rights may include access, correction, deletion, data portability, withdrawal of consent for certain processing, and the right to opt out of qualifying sales of Personal Information, targeted advertising, or profiling.

We may also be required in certain jurisdictions to honor recognized universal opt-out preference signals.

You may contact us at hello@landelier.com to exercise an applicable right.

11. Sensitive Personal Information

The Website is not intended to collect highly sensitive categories of Personal Information such as Social Security numbers, government identification documents, financial account credentials, biometric identifiers, or medical or health information through ordinary Website inquiries.

Please do not provide this type of information unless it is specifically necessary for a legitimate interaction with Landelier and we have requested it.

If we process information classified as sensitive personal data under applicable law, we will do so in accordance with any consent, limitation, security, or other requirements imposed by that law.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Website and Landelier’s services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information online from children under the age of 13.

If we learn that Personal Information has been collected from a child under 13 in circumstances subject to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), we will take appropriate steps to delete the information or otherwise comply with applicable law.

If you believe that a child has provided Personal Information to us, please contact us at hello@landelier.com.

13. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website may contain links to social media platforms, websites, applications, or services operated by third parties.

When you follow a third-party link or interact with third-party content, that third party may collect information directly from you under its own terms and privacy policy.

Landelier is not responsible for the privacy, security, or data-handling practices of third-party websites or services that we do not control. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing Personal Information.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our Website, services, technology, business practices, or legal obligations.

When we make changes, we will post the revised Privacy Policy on this page and update the “Effective Date” at the top.

If changes materially affect how we use or disclose Personal Information, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by applicable law.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
