Even wildflowers know how to thrive on neglect – no fancy irrigation, just a little patience, and the occasional hand watering. This meadow didn’t just happen; it grew from seeds tough enough to handle poor, sandy soil and dry conditions. Perfect for when your garden plans are ambitious, but your watering schedule... isn’t. The plant palette is packed with native species that pull double duty – they look beautiful and keep pollinators and birds happy. Native sumac, started from bare roots, adds structure and seasonal color without demanding much attention (or budget). It’s a low-cost, low-maintenance recipe for a natural, vibrant border that practically takes care of itself – proof that sometimes, the best things in life grow from a little neglect and a handful of seeds.
